- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪SATURDAY, MAY 20 I have been at the Cape Fear Valley Hospital Emergency Room with a patient for over 7 hours. The patient arrived by EMS at 2AM. The patient and I waited in ER with individuals that were bleeding, vomiting, or in serious pain. I am disappointed in the long wait time and I am also upset that they had sick patients sitting in the same area with guests. There should be designated areas for the overflow clients. My final concern deals with the emergency room wheelchairs not being cleaned. One patient would leave the wheelchair just for another patient to sit in the same one without be cleansed. One positive thing was the security guard Freeman. He was patient and considerate.May 08, 2017by Rotation Steeple
